Commander 1 Brigade Assures Of Extensive Infrastructural Development As Brigade Commences Construction Of Ultra Modern Medical Centre

* The Commander 1 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Olatokunbo Bello has reiterated his resolve and total commitment towards extensive infrastructural development within the brigade's General Area of Responsibility. The Commander of the Nigerian Army's premier brigade made the pledge while receiving the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 8 Division Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Aminu Bande at the foundation-laying ceremony of an ultra modern Medical Centre for the Brigade at the New Barracks Gusau, on Tuesday 26 November 2019. The GOC who laid the Conerstone for the Medical Centre, commended the Brigade Commander for his commitment to troops welfare in line with the vision of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai. He also assured of his continued support for the Brigade in its quest to provide qualitative infrastructure for its personnel. The GOC thereafter inspected other ongoing projects within the barracks, including the various officers and soldiers quarters being built, as well as the ongoing electrification and water reticulation projects accordingly. In attendance at the function were distinguished very senior officers and officers from Headquarters 8 Division and 1 Brigade respectively.
